The Manager in the State & Local Tax practice will oversee tax projects, provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance for various clients. Responsibilities include engaging in business development, collaborating with Federal Tax Compliance Groups, reviewing state and local income tax returns, and supervising team members. The role requires a self-starter with strong initiative and proficiency in technology.
Qualifications
4+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Income Tax Experience; Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred; Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the state administrative level required (i.e. CPA, CMI or JD).
